Why We Built Menu Checkpoint
Menu Checkpoint was created by Hello Habanero after we launched our own restaurant and began using Toast. Shortly after, we became a strategic partner with Toast, referring restaurants to their platform and assisting with onboarding.
As we worked through menu setups, we noticed something consistent. The onboarding process relied heavily on a static Google Sheet template for menu imports. It was time-consuming. It was manual. It was frustrating. Formatting errors were easy to make, and small mistakes could delay the entire setup.
